Fathers and children are hurting. Fathers are hurting because their dad wasn't there for them when they were younger and they are still suffering from this lack of support, direction and affection. Children are hurting because fathers aren't spending enough or any time with their children. We've all heard the stories and have seen examples of what happens when that gap between a father and his children exists.
As a result, COACH Ministry created a program, called 24 Dates With My Dad, to bridge the gap between fathers and children. They learn how to be transparent with each other by sharing intimate details of their lives. 24 Dates With My Dad is a curriculum and activity program designed for fathers and children to establish and maintain constant interaction and develop a solid foundation of transparency and spiritual intimacy between a father and his children. |

In addition, all the participants get together every two weeks as a group to share with each other. This is followed by a sports or team building activity, and/or serving in the community. This small group is a key ingredient in creating a deeper relationship between a father and his children. The group interaction is a dynamic environment for everyone to get to know each other better. Furthermore, the children get an opportunity to see their fathers act like a child again by playing games, witnessing their father serve in the community and share his own intimacy with other fathers. As a result of this interaction, the roots between a father and his children grow deeper which will last for multiple generations.
